Unlock your worth!

It’s hard to know what you’re getting into at your first job as an A&P. Hell, it never stops being hard unless you know the facts. You may have no idea if your starting pay is even close to what it should be. It gets even muddier if you have prior experience, especially from the military.

Know what to expect when it comes to A&P pay scales and how much you should be making with this chart. Pay ranges are for the Denver area and are meant for mechanics working on private turboprop or jet aircraft. Here’s the low down:

  • Look forward to making $30 an hour at your first A&P gig.

  • Expect to see a raise of $1.65/hour per year.

Download the spreadsheet version (link above) and update it with your desired pay. We based pay ranges on open job postings, input from active industry mechanics and data from The Bureau of Labor Statistics, so you know it’s accurate.
