The Wolf Moon
This shot of the Wolf Moon was taken on January 13th, 2025, at 6:59 AM, just 20 minutes before sunrise. The moon, sitting low on the horizon, had a beautiful yellow-orange hue—typical for moonset just before dawn. A cool bonus: the pilot and passenger can be seen inside the cabin!
David is a hobbyist photographer and Colorado local that enjoys a Western view of the Rockies from his home. When he’s not shooting wildlife, David sits on his balcony and takes beautiful shots of planes flying by at just the perfect moments.
